MADISON, WI USA ( January 14th, 2020 ) — Lady Laughs Comedy announces dates and the headliner for the Int’l. Lady Laughs Comedy Festival 2020. We are excited and proud to be celebrating 5 years of Funny Women in Madison, WI.
What started out as a small festival has morphed into a huge celebration of women in the comedic arts attracting comedians from all over the US, Canada and beyond. Back for it’s 5th year celebration, the 2020 event will be bigger and better than ever. For the special anniversary we’ll be having Aida Rodriguez headlining. She has been seen on the Netflix series Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready as well as The Young Turks.
The event will be held April 22-25, 2020 at The Barrymore Theatre, High Noon Saloon, The Winnebago, Crucible and Giant Jones Brewing Company. In addition to our usual shows we’re adding workshops and panels including workshops for professional development including a workshop by Robyn Coffin from Chicago Fire.Of course, what would ILLCF be without a day of brunch shows which will be on April 25th at Crucible. Bloodys, Mimosas, Brunch and laughs.
