This workshop will focus on the basics of Stand Up, Joke Writing, Stagecraft and virtual performing. We’ll workshop jokes and tweak them during the time and will get you ready for your first virtual open mic.
With this new world that we’re living in virtual performing is the main way we’re keeping our skills in use. Those who move through the virtual world will be prepared to take the mic post covid.
Our final exam…so to speak will be a virtual showcase that will be scheduled based on everyone’s availability.
Dina Nina Martinez is a stand up comedian, actor and the founder of Lady Laughs Comedy. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to perform on stages all over the country and she’s been seen on PBS, The Late Late Show with James Corden and she’s been named one of the “40 Hot Queer Women in Comedy”.
